May 6, 2003 - The New Web Portal - 23-May-2003
Well, the new site is finally here... It's not complete yet, but at least we've go a platform to build on. I'm going to need a lot of help to get this site to a point where it is a useful source of information. Anyone interested in providing content and/or suggestions, please email me. My plans for the new site are as follows: Pete Kneedler and I will be working to get the alumni database current. The database will be a useful tool for helping brothers stay connected. Please check out the Alumni Directory (under the Alumni tab above - you must be registered to access the directory) and make sure that your information is correct. Let me know if we need to make changes to your directory information or if you have information on others that you can share. I'd like this site to be a platform for electronically maintaining the history of the chapter. If you have photographs that you can provide electronically, please send them to me. Also, if any of you have stories that you would like to share with the rest of the chapter, please put them in narrative form and email them to me as well. I am also happy to post things such as birthdays, weddings and other special announcements. There are many of us who regularly get together in small groups and this site could be a great platform for notifying of such events. Please email your comments to dkee@txbeta.org.
